Do you have information that would be helpful to the ongoing investigation of the House quad-committee (quad-comm)?
If so, feel free to email the mega-panel so that you and your testimony can be vetted.
"Here's the email for those who want to be invited, please send your letters to [email protected]," quad-comm overall chairman, Surigao del Norte 2nd district Rep. Robert Ace Barbers said in a press conference Tuesday, Nov. 12.
"Pipilitin namin na ma-accommodate kayo. Hindi namin mapapangako pero yung mga hindi po namin ma-accommodate, pwede naman din po kayo pumunta pero doon kayo sa reserved seat intended for guests," he said.
(We will do everything that we can to accommodate you. We may not be able to promise it, but those who we cannot accommodate may still go to the hearing and take the reserved seats intended for guests.)
But those who will be deemed important enough based on their testimonies will be made resource persons in the hearing.
"As resource persons, meron nung reserve seat yan para sa aming resource persons. So kung gusto niyo ma-imbita, padala nyo kami ng sulat," Barbers said.
(As resource persons, there will be reserved seats for them. So if you want to be invited, write us a letter.)
Since August, the quad-comm has been carrying out marathon hearings on the alleged interconnected issues of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO), illegal drugs, money laundering, and the extrajudicial killings (EJKs) during the previous Duterte administration's drug war.
