Student gunned down in Laguna

SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna - A student was shot dead in Barangay San Pedro, this city, on Monday evening, Nov. 11.

Police identified the victim as Justine Padilla.

Investigation said the victim was inside his house when a man arrived and fired at him multiple times.

The victim died on the spot.

The suspect fled towards the direction of Barangay San Pedro here.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation and have reviewed to closed-circuit television camera (CCTV) footage in the area for identification and arrest of the suspect.
