P82-M shabu seized in Western Visayas in October

ILOILO CITY – Police seized suspected shabu valued at P82 million from 317 drug suspects in Western Visayas region in October.

The Police Regional Office-6 said that more than 12 kilos of shabu were seized from the suspects in anti-drug operations from Oct. 1 to 31.

"These figures are the result of our commitment against illegal drugs," said PRO-6 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky.

The Negros Occidental  Police Provincial Office arrested 104 drug suspects, followed by the Iloilo City Police Office with 82, and Bacolod City Police Office, 62.

Wanky said there is no letup in the anti-drug campaign in Western Visayas.
