There will be no classes in all levels on November 11, Monday, for both public and private schools in the entire Rizal Province due to Severe Tropical Storm Nika.

Rizal Governor Nina Ricci Ynares, on her Facebook page, announced on Sunday night, Nov. 10, the suspension of classes as she recommended for the shifting of face-to-face classes to alternative learning modalities such as module and online.

Several hours prior to the suspension of classes, Gov. Ynares reminded the students to be ready for the effect of the storm including strong wind that may threaten their safety.

The suspension of classes by Ynares and the local chief executives in the province was prompted by the issuance of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 1 in Rizal Province and other parts of Luzon by the state weather bureau as early as late afternoon on November 10, Sunday.
