P1.7-M shabu seized in Bacolod drug sting


BACOLOD CITY – The City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized 250 grams of shabu valued at P1.7 million in a buy-bust operation in Purok Gonzaga, Barangay Taculing, this city, on Wednesday night, Nov. 6.

The suspects were identified as Herliza, 27, and Judy, 30, a painter, both residents of Barangay Taculing.

Recovered from the suspects were a tooter, P1,000 marked money, and P300.

The suspects were tagged as high-value individuals due to the volume of the drug recovery and detained at Police Station 6.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental apprehended five individuals and dismantled a drug den in Barangay 19 here on Wednesday.

Seized from the suspects were  12 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P36,000, improvised tooters, a broken tooter, marked money, and P130.
