Police identified the suspect as “Kalbo."

According to NCPS-DEU deputy chief PCpt. Gregorio Cueto, the suspect's sister-in-law submitted to them a video of Kalbo using shabu while carrying his child days before his arrest.

When she tried to stop him from using drugs near his child, the suspect threatened to kill her, prompting her to report the incident to the police.

“Tuwing nakakagamit kasi ito ng ipinagbabawal na gamot lagi niyang pinagbabantaan yung mga kaanak niya, natatakot na din siya para sa seguridad nila kaya nireport na niya ang suspek (He constantly threatens his family whenever he is under the influence of illegal drugs. This made her report the suspect to the police),” Cueto explained.

The suspect, along with his cohort, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation on Friday, November 1. Police confiscated 10.11 grams of shabu worth P68,748 from the duo.

The child was also brought to the hospital to undergo medical tests due to the risk of potential inhalation of drug smoke.

The arrested suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
