The eight-time Most Valuable Player won his unprecedented 11th Best Player of the Conference award even with his San Miguel Beer failed to reach the finals while Hollis-Jefferson retained his Best Import award which he first won in Season 47 – the last time the conference was staged.

The two were awarded ahead of the Game 4 of the Finals series between TNT and Ginebra.

Fajardo, like in previous times, was the runaway winner in the BPC race garnering 989 points – a combination from the statistical points, media and players’ votes.

His closest pursuer was Japeth Aguilar who had 664 points followed by another King in Scottie Thompson who collected 465 points. NorthPort’s Arvin Tolentino, NLEX’s Robert Bolick and SMB’s CJ Perez were the other BPC finalists.

Although the Best Import race was initially seen as a toss up between Hollis-Jefferson and Justin Brownlee, the Tropang Giga import proved to be a head and shoulders above this year’s batch amassing 1,221 points.

Brownlee was second with 947 points while Aaron Fuller and EJ Anosike came in third and fourth with 590 and 548 points respectively.
