Trailer truck plows through concrete barriers in Manila - MPD

A trailer truck hit multiple concrete barriers along Mel Lopez Boulevard causing heavy traffic in the area, the Manila Police District (MPD) reported Wednesday, October 9,

The MPD has yet to disclose the identity of the driver who was rushed to the hospital due to his injuries.

Police said the driver was cruising along the northbound lane of Mel Lopez Boulevard when it suddenly hit several concrete barriers, flattening its front end.

Authorities temporarily closed the affected lane as the investigation on the incident is being conducted.

Motorists were advised to take alternate routes to avoid traffic jams.
