28 wanted persons fall in Cordillera

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera apprehended 28 wanted persons from September 29 to October 5.

The PRO-Cordillera Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division said the Baguio City Police Office arrested eight wanted persons, followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office with seven, Kalinga PPO with five, Mountain Province PPO with four, Apayao PPO with two, and Abra and Ifugao PPO with one each.

Seven were most wanted persons, six on the municipal level and one on the regional level.

Intensified police presence resulted in zero crime incidents in 62 municipalities in the region and six police stations in Baguio City – 26 towns in Abra, 10 in Benguet, nine in Mountain Province, eight in Ifugao, five in Apayao, four in Kalinga, and the Baguio City Police Stations 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 10.
