P46-M marijuana seized in Cordillera in 1 week

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet -- Police seized marijuana worth over P46 million in the Cordillera region from September 30 to October 6.

The Police Regional Office-Cordillera destroyed 153,080 fully grown marijuana plants, 1,800 marijuana seedlings, and 129,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves in 12 operations in Apayao, Benguet, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and  Baguio City.

The Mountain Province Police Provincial Office eradicated marijuana  valued at P27 million, Kalinga PPO, P18 million; and
Benguet PPO, P988,000.

The Mountain Province PPO, Apayao PPO, and the Baguio City Police Office arrested three suspected drug pushers considered as high-value individuals.
