Debbie Lopez sings unconditional love in Visayan song 'Ang Higugmaon Ka'

Debbie Lopez, known for her work as a cosplay artist and as an artist on Spotify, has recently introduced a new Visayan track named "Ang Higugmaon Ka." This song is her heartfelt dedication to individuals who embody and share unconditional love.

Translated into Filipino as "Ang Mahalin Ka," the song is about a person loving someone despite the pain they receive from that person. Kuya Bryan Cebu composed the music and lyrics.

"The song tells the story of loving someone no matter what, even if that person loves someone else," said Debbie during the launch at Mellow D on Roces Avenue in Quezon City recently.

Debbie added: "She/he hopes that their love for that person will still remain because they think that the person is worth the wait."

The song, she also said, connects with people who experience unrequited love, empathizing with those who endure pain while waiting.

Debbie's music career is thriving, and she has recently made the move to Manila to fully dedicate herself to her musical pursuits. Doc Mon Del Rosario is Debbie's music mentor and copyright consultant.

Notably, Debbie has been spotlighted as a featured artist on both Radyo Agila and Net25, marking significant milestones in her journey.

Debbie has taken on the role of host and artist for "Ang Kantahan Na," which airs on Radyo Agila Net25 DzEC 106 kHz every Sunday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Joining her as co-hosts are Ian Agsalud and Belle Surara.

A talented DJ, Debbie has also made a name for herself as an engaging online host. Her talent has been recognized with multiple prestigious awards in the industry.

Some of Debbie's awards include Asia's World-Class Filipino Awards in Aug. 2022; Asia's Triumphant Awards in Feb. 2023; Asian World Class DJ and Cosplayer of the Year, March 2023; Most Outstanding and Multi-Talented Radio DJ, Singer, and Online Host; Philippines Choice Award for Promising Recording Artist of the Year at Manila Hotel in Oct. 2023, etc.
