‘Tatak Nene Aguilar’ team files COC in Las Piñas City

The #Tatak Nene Aguilar team led by Mayor Imelda Aguilar filed their certificates of candidacy for the coming 2025 midterm election at the Commission on Election (Comelec) on Monday morning, October 7. 

Aguilar will be running as vice-mayor after completing her three consecutive terms as the city’s chief executive, her daughter, incumbent Vice-Mayor April Aguilar will run for Mayor in a bid to continue the “Para Tuloy ang Tapat at Progresibong Serbisyo”.

The legacy of the late former Mayor Vergel “Nene” Aguilar in serving the people particularly through education and medical services will be continued by the members of the #Tatak Nene Aguilar team once elected in the coming midterm elections.

The filing of candidacy of #Tatak Nene Aguilar team was supported by hundreds of residents who believe that the former mayor’s services in making the city progressive will be sustained by the mother and daughter team.

The current mayor and vice-mayor maintained the issuance of the “green card”, a hospitalization program initiated by the late Mayor Nene Aguilar in 2000, to help residents in need of financial support for medical treatment and hospital care.

Vice-Mayor April Aguilar initiated the improvement of the city’s health services with the procurement mobile X-ray van and established Laboratory and Diagnostic Centers both in District 1 and 2.

The mother and daughter tandem also plan to expand the services that senior citizens of Las Piñas can avail and some of which are the free cataract removal and free and diagnostic and laboratory  tests

In terms of education, the city’s chief executive added College of Engineering of the city’s local college, Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Memorial College  that can cater 4,000 scholars. 

The # Tatak Nene Aguilar team vowed to continue in making the city a safe place to live for the residents.

The mother and daughter tandem were joined by the councilors  in filing their respective COCs.

Running for District I councilors are Alelee Aguilar, Zardi Abellera, Brian Bayog, Robert Cristobal, Mac-Mac Santos and Marlon Rosales.

Seeking for a spot as councilors in District II are Henry Medina, Tito Martinez, Macky Saito, Lester Aranda, Euan Toralballa and Luigi Casimiro.
