A total of 3,500 college students received financial assistance from the Parañaque city government at the Parañaque City Sports Complex on Saturday, October 5.

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez led the distribution of cash assistance to students who were beneficiaries of college educational financial assistance program of the city government.

Olivarez said the beneficiaries of college educational financial assistance program of the city government were from District 1 and 2.

Under the program, he said college students with weighted average of 81 up to 86 percent will receive financial assistance of P4,000 while those with weighted average of 87 percent and up will be given P6,000.
