Pasay police nab notorious murderer on wanted list

A driver sought for murder in Calbiga, Samar was apprehended by the Pasay City Police's Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) during an operation targeting wanted individuals on Friday, October 4. 

Col. Samuel Pabonita, the chief of the Pasay City Police, reported that the suspect, known by the alias Noli and residing in Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay Rizal, was ranked as the third most wanted person at the provincial level for murder. 

The arrest occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Libertad and Taft Avenue in Barangay 97, Pasay City. 

Pabonita indicated that the suspect was taken into custody under a warrant issued by Judge Janet Menzon Cabalona of the Regional Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Branch 33, Calbiga, Samar, dated March 21, 2021, with no bail set. 

Following his arrest, the suspect was placed in the police custodial facility while awaiting a commitment order.
