CAVITE—The Provincial Police Office (PPO) has heightened its alert status as part of enhanced security protocols for All Saints’ Day (November 1) and All Souls’ Day (November 2).
In a statement issued on Wednesday, October 30, the Cavite PPO announced the deployment of 591 personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) along with 693 force multipliers to ensure the safety and security of the public in anticipation of Undas.
In addition, 131 police assistance desks (PADs) and 194 augmented units have been activated to provide assistance and immediate response.
Checkpoints have been placed in strategic areas, and mobile patrols have intensified their daily patrol operations, increasing police visibility.
Cavite PPO Acting Director Col. Dwight E. Alegre urged all chiefs of police and unit commanders to step out of their stations and personally lead their teams on the ground.
He also emphasized the importance of coordinating with local government units to secure additional personnel during emergencies.
