Mayor Along issues guidelines, cemetery schedule for Undas 2024

Caloocan City Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan has issued guidelines for residents who will be going to the cemeteries on All Saints’ Day (November 1) and All Souls’ Day (November 2).

The Public cemeteries will be open from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. on October 30 to November 1.

All types of vehicles will not be allowed inside the public cemeteries in the city.

Residents are reminded to strictly follow designated entrances and exits of the cemeteries, avoid littering, and be mindful of their personal belongings.

All sharp objects such as knives and ice picks and bringing of radios and speakers are strictly prohibited inside the cemetery.

Also, any alcoholic beverages are not allowed inside the cemetery premises.

Mayor Along Malapitan assured everyone that local authorities are ready to respond to any situation and urged the public to use the city’s emergency hotline, 888-ALONG (25664), to report untoward incidents.
