Asialink Finance Corporation has secured a P1 billion credit line facility from Maybank Philippines to help provide financing options for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
In a statement on Wednesday, Oct. 30, Asialink said the partnership aims to accelerate its loan disbursements and expand its financial portfolio, supporting MSMEs striving for growth.
Patrick Dennis Solosa, Maybank president and chief executive officer, stated they are committed to empowering MSMEs through strategic collaborations, such as with Asialink.
"We’re excited to expand our reach in the SME sector, not only by increasing the range of clients we can serve but also by enhancing the level of service we extend to each one,” Solosa said.
Solosa also said that Maybank seeks to support Malaysian-affiliated businesses operating in the Philippines.
“Asialink holds a unique connection to Malaysia, and I personally ensure that any Malaysian-affiliated company operating in the Philippines will receive our bank's dedicated support,” Solosa said.
