5 hurt after truck hits 3 vehicles in Manila

At least five people were injured after a truck driver lost control of his vehicle and hit three other vehicles along Mabini Bridge in Manila on Wednesday, October 30.

According to the truck driver, he was cruising the southbound lane of the bridge when the truck's brakes malfunctioned and hit two motorcycles in front of him and a car along the inner lane of the bridge.

Due to the impact, dozens of bottled beverages loaded on the truck scattered on the road, causing heavy traffic in the area.

Meanwhile, the injured motorcycle riders and their passengers sustained minor wounds. 

The truck driver was brought to the police station for further investigation and may face charges of Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Damage to Property and Multiple Physical Injuries.
