14 houses lost in Tacloban City fire

TACLOBAN CITY -- Fourteen houses were razed by a fire that broke out in Barangay 62-B, Sagkahan here early Wednesday morning, Oct. 30.

The fire was reported at 1:29 a.m. and was put out by firefighters at 2:15 a.m.

No injuries or casualties were reported by the Tacloban City Fire Station.

Meanwhile, another fire broke out in Barangay 109-A, Phase 4 Extension here at 1:57 a.m.

The fire that hit a house was declared out at 2:42 a.m. The house was also damaged by a fire in the past.

No injuries or casualties were also reported.

The Fire Investigation Unit is currently investigating the cause of the two fires.
