Reelectionist Adiongs of Lanao del Sur file COC

ILIGAN CITY â€“ Reelectionists Gov. Mamintal "Bombit" Alonto Adiong Jr. and Vice Gov. Muhammad Khalid R. Adiong of Lanao del Sur filed their Certificates of Candidacy for the May elections here on October 1.

Also filing their COCs at the Commission on Elections-Lanao del Sur office in this city were reelectionists Reps. Zia-ur Rahman Alonto Adiong of the first district and Yasser Alonto Balindong of the second district, provincial board members, mayors, vice mayors, and councilors from the 39 municipalities and Marawi City.

Allied parties Serbisyong Inklusibo Alyansang Progresibo, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Grand Coalition, OMPIA party, and Lakas-CMD were on hand to support the candidates.

The Adiong family started their political carrier with the late Gov. Mamintal Adiong Sr. in 1998.
