The team composed of doctors, nurses, and allied health workers will be deployed to the Naga City General Hospital.

They will work alongside Health Emergency Response Teams (HERTs) to address the health needs of affected communities.

The team  brought essential medical supplies and critical resources to deliver immediate care, manage injuries, prevent potential disease outbreaks, and provide healthcare services to those most impacted by the storm.

Meanwhile, the Army 8th Infantry Division is working with local governments in Camarines Sur to distribute relief supplies.

In a recent operation, three trucks transported 1,400 food packs, 1,400 boxes of drinking water, and 1,000 boxes of biscuits to barangays in Minalabac.

Five watercraft delivered 209 food packs to Sitio Inginan, Barangay Bagongbong, Minabalac.

Efforts are also underway to ensure  access to potable water. Soldiers supplied 1,300 units of water, 100 family water filtration units, and 3,481 non-food items for displaced families.

To aid communication for affected residents, the RDRRMC-8, with support  from the Department of Information and Communications Technology, established a free Wi-Fi hub at the Legazpi City old airport.

Brig. Gen. Perfecto Peñaredondo, acting commander of the 8th ID, reaffirmed the Army’s dedication to relief efforts.

“We stand with our communities in these challenging times, working hand in hand with local governments to deliver essential support,” he said.
