FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist’s First Nominee Brian Poe was awarded the International Golden Seal of Merit and Excellence Award (IGSMEA) on Sunday, Oct. 27, for his dedicated leadership in community service and efforts to champion community empowerment. FPJ Youth President Armani Miguel Narca received the award.

“This advocacy is really close to my heart because of my grandfather FPJ (Fernando Poe Jr.) who has been my inspiration and our organization’s guiding light to serve and help our fellow Filipinos,” said Poe.

Poe dedicated the award to the Filipino public, especially those affected by the frequent calamities that impact the nation each year. His commitment to helping storm-affected communities underscored the partylist’s continued focus on providing aid and rebuilding support for the country’s most vulnerable.

As part of his award, a donation was made in Poe’s name to the Josefheim Foundation in Pililia Rizal, which shelters and cares for the impoverished and elderly, and to the Center for Health Improvement and Life Development Haus (C.H.I.L.D Haus) in Paco, Manila, a temporary home for children battling cancer.

“FPJ Panday Bayanihan supports the advocacy of pushing to do more for vulnerable ones like our grandparents, children, and people who need special assistance…We aim to help more of our kababayans by including those who are stricken with illness,” said Poe.

FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist’s focus on elderly support continues the legacy of Sen. Grace Poe, with initiatives aimed at increasing benefits, social support, and livelihood opportunities for senior citizens.
