The Philippines’ award-winning nine-piece Folk-Pop band Ben&Ben has garnered another recognition from the recently concluded 16th Star Awards for Music after winning the Music Video of the Year for their version of Christian Bautista’s hit song “The Way You Look at Me.”

Launched last May 2023, the award-winning music video featured GMA’s hottest loveteam Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, with special cameo roles of Bautista and Shuvee Etrata, under the direction of SHIFT Founder Blasgil “Direk Blas” Tanquilut.

Known as Direk Blas in the industry, he continues to harness his talent by collaborating with numerous artists and celebrities, undoubtedly creating masterpieces that are worth watching.

After five years of establishing his own media company, SHIFT Content Hub, Direk Blas is unstoppable in producing and partnering with various groups and companies to come up with entertaining video productions that highlight his talent and passion over the years.

Proving its strong understanding of its target market, Direk Blas’ “The Way You Look at Me” music video on Universal Records Philippines’ Youtube channel has already garnered two million views and continues to increase after winning the 16th Star Awards for Music.

“This recognition is a nice way of reminding us of where we came from and how far we have reached over the past five years of our operation.
