Camille Co-Koro launches Ckin

A skincare line designed for acne-prone skin

Behind the glitz and glamour of social media influencing, your favorite social media personalities, like us, are human beings. They, too, deal with insecurities and challenges related to their appearance and skin texture, and Camille Co-Koro is no exception.

Like many of us, digital content creator and entrepreneur Camille once struggled with serious acne that impacted her self-esteem.

“I realized that acne is more than just skin-deep,” she shared. “It affects so much of our daily lives, at least for me. It impacted my relationships—with others, with myself—and even the simplest tasks became so hard. You get stripped of self-confidence and self-esteem, and you end up feeling so overwhelmed, confused, and isolated.”

Inspired by her personal journey and struggles, Camille and a team of experts created a skincare line specially formulated to address acne. Thus, Ckin was born. With only three products—a gel cleanser, toner, and hydrator—the line aims to simplify skincare routines for acne-prone skin while delivering promising results.

The gel cleanser is designed to calm the skin, the toner to renew and soothe, and the hydrator to repair and balance the skin. All of these products are dermatologically tested, vegan, and cruelty-free. But the journey doesn’t end there. In addition to launching these products, Camille also introduced the Ckin Collective website, designed to build an online community where people can openly discuss and share their experiences with acne and other skin issues. Co-created with skin scientist Dr. Katerina Steventon, the website promotes “skinfulness,” encouraging everyone to view skincare through a holistic lens.

According to Dr. Steventon, “Skinfulness means looking at skincare through a holistic lens, recognizing the deep connections between skin, body, and mind.”

Camille also shared that the website will serve as a hub for informative articles, where people can find professional tips on various skin concerns. “I started Ckin because I wanted to take the power away from acne and remove the stigma surrounding it,” she explained. “I wanted to help others feel understood, to help them feel seen, to understand why acne happens, and to realize that they’re not alone—we’re a community here.”

Ultimately, Camille reminds everyone that having healthy skin isn’t about perfection; it’s about self-acceptance and finding happiness within. “Ckin is more than just a skincare brand—it’s a lifestyle, a holistic approach to skincare,” she said. “We want people to know that caring for your skin is also about caring for your mind and overall well-being. That’s why at Ckin, we don’t strive for perfection. Instead, we embrace the journey, celebrate our progress, and aim to help people feel content and calm in their own skin, bringing care back into their skincare routines.”
