21-year-old drug trafficker arrested in Rizal


A 21-year-old individual, identified as a high-value target in drug trafficking, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Taytay, Rizal on Monday, October 28, with shabu valued at approximately P952,000.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) named the suspect as "Jayson." His arrest occurred during operations carried out by the Rizal Police in Barangay Dolores at approximately 12:27 a.m.

During the arrest, law enforcement officials seized nine packages of suspected shabu, weighing around 140 grams, along with various drug paraphernalia.

The Rizal PPO reported that the collected evidence has been forwarded to the Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit for analysis.

The suspect is currently in the custody of the Rizal Police, and charges for violating Republic Act 9165, known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against him, according to police sources.
