Man charged with illegal possession of drugs following syringe attack in Pasay City

A suspect has been arrested by the Pasay City police in connection with the alleged drug injection of a 28-year-old individual on Sunday, October 27.

According to the Southern Police District (SPD), Colonel Samuel Pabonita, the police chief of Pasay City, confirmed the arrest of a 30-year-old man known as “Gerry” in Maricaban, Pasay City.

The victim stated that during an altercation, the suspect used a syringe to inject him, alleging it contained illegal substances.

Following the victim’s claims, the police executed a follow-up operation that resulted in the discovery of drug paraphernalia concealed in Gerry’s bag.

The search revealed shabu worth ₱97,376, along with four syringes and a sterile water bottle.

The individual has been moved to the Station Drug Enforcement Unit and has been charged with the illegal possession of drugs.
