4,000 cops to secure ‘Undas’ in Central Luzon


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Nearly 4,000 personnel from the Police Regional Office-3 will be deployed in Central Luzon for All Saints’ Day.

PRO-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Redrico A. Maranan has mobilized senior officers to personally oversee security preparations in cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaria in the region in line with “Ligtas Undas 2024” starting Thursday, Oct. 31.

Maranan directed them to coordinate with force multipliers and emergency response units to ensure efficient and visible security. 

He also ordered the inspection and reinforce police presence in bus terminals to ensure the safety of people heading to the provinces.

“Our personnel will be deployed from Oct. 29 through Nov. 4 to guarantee the safety and security of the public as they commemorate All Saints' and All Souls' Days,” Maranan said.
