OPM icon Ogie Alcasid expressed his excitement upon learning that the popular girl group BINI would be joining him for his upcoming concert, titled "Ogieke 2 Reimagined."

This highly anticipated event is set to take place at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on Nov. 30.

Known for his contributions to the music industry, Ogie sees this collaboration as a fantastic opportunity to blend his classic hits with BINI's fresh sound, promising an unforgettable experience for fans of both artists.

During a media conference held at the Kamuning Bakery Cafe in Quezon City last Oct. 25, Ogie recalled how BINI accepted his offer to be one of the guests at his concert. He also said that he and the P-pop girl group have an upcoming collaboration for the song "Sige, Galaw Galaw."

"Irerecord na namin dapat ito ng November kaso bigla silang nagconcert sa Araneta. So medyo naging busy sika at nakiusap na next year na namin gawin ang recording. Sabi ko walang problema.

"Then I saw them in Los Angeles for ASAP show. So biniro ko sila kung gusto nilang mag-shopping? Pero hindi yun ang dahilan at natuwa lang talaga ako sa kanila. Parang regalo ko lang yun sa kanila.

"Nang tinanong ko sila kung gusto ba nilang mag-guest (sa concert ko), walang ka-abog abog sinabi nila, 'Of course, we will adjust to your schedule. I'm so thankful for them," Ogie said.

Asked what the members of the BINI shopped, Ogie said: "Mahilig sila sa makeup."BINI would perform some of Ogie's songs at the concert.

"Gusto ko naman silang lahat. Pero kasi si Maloy (a member of BINI), taga Taal, Batangas. Doon kami nagkakaintindihan. Batangueno kami," said Ogie, when asked about his favorite BINI member.

Ogie, however, said he would not perform a BINI song during the show. "Hindi ko kaya ang choreography nila."

He encouraged BINI to remain steadfast and not succumb to external pressures, reminding them to take a moment to celebrate and relish their achievements.

Ogie emphasized the importance of appreciating their success while staying true to their values and vision.

"If I were to give them advice from a tito or father figure, I would try to enjoy what they're having right now. I don't know if they are because I haven't talked to them that way. Siguro sa rehearsals. But I would like them to enjoy it more.

"Mahirap yung puro trabaho na lang. So I hope they enjoy it more and are not pressured by anything else. Andyan din ang social media so huwag sanang magpapa-pressure.

"Sa tagal ng ginagawa namin dito, puwede kang lamunin ng sistema dahil ang daming pumupuna sa'yo at bumabatikos na mga bashers, I think you just say no to pressure.

"It's best if you enjoy your success not only for yourself, for the network but for the country as well. They are being recognized worldwide and it's something we have to be proud of," Ogie added.

Earlier in June, Regine Velasquez also shared tips with BINI.

"Just enjoy it. When you're doing a concert, hindi mo mahe-help ang sarili mo. You will really enjoy it, because your audience will just give you love. Biruin mo, ikaw ang purpose mo lang is to entertain, but your audience will just ... Kung ano 'yung energy na you're putting out, ibabalik nila 'yun sa'yo, ten-fold," said Regine in a report by ABS-CBN News.

Regine added: "Natutuwa ako kasi, they're giving life to OPM. Kumbaga, hindi lang sa sarili nila, sa career nila. They're actually bringing life to our music. Tapos, ipinapakilala nila pa sa buong mundo 'yung music natin.

"Just remember to be grateful, [and] remember that hindi lahat ng tao nabibigyan ng ganitong klaseng opportunity at its not always gonna be like this," she said.

Ogie announced that he will soon release a "reimagined album," featuring an exciting collection of his greatest hits.

This album will showcase new arrangements and interpretations of his well-loved songs, offering fans a fresh perspective on his music.

"May rock version ako ng 'Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang?' at nagustuhan siya ng fans. Kaya ginawa ko ang reimagined album. Irerelease ko yung reimagined album at nandun ang mga hits ko na may mga bagong areglo."
