Fire razes house in Muntinlupa subdivision


A fire razed a house in a subdivision in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa on Oct. 26. 

According to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, the fire occurred at 5:52 p.m. at a two-storey house at Block 51 in Soldiers’ Hills Village. 

Firefighters raised the first alarm at 5:52 p.m. before the blaze was put under control at 6:08 p.m. and put out at 6:14 p.m.

No one was injured in the fire, which damaged about P200,000 worth of properties. The fire affected a family of four. 

The fire station said the blaze started from the ceiling of the living room but the cause is under investigation. 

A total of 16 fire trucks, including six from the Bureau of Fire Protection, and five ambulances responded to the incident.
