Solon offers P350,000 reward for Eastman's recovery; pot now at P500,000

ZAMBOANGA CITY – The reward for the safe recovery of kidnapped American national Elliot Eastman has reached P500,000.

Zamboanga del Norte Rep. Adrian Amatong has offered an additional P350,000 for the safe return of Eastman.

It is on top of the initial P100,000 offered by Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte Mayor Joel Ventura and another P50,000 for information that will lead to the recovery of the boat used by the kidnappers.

Ventura assured that information forwarded by individuals in exchange for the reward will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

He gave his mobile phone number for those interested in providing information.

Others who gave their mobile phone numbers were Efraem Alia Roldan, Secretary to the Mayor; Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Police Office, and the Sibuco Municipal Police Station.

“The LGU remains fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents and visitors in Sibuco. Let us work towards the safe recovery of Mr. Eastman and the apprehension of those responsible,” the Sibuco local government said.
