More than 261 families are seeking temporary shelter in 23 evacuation camps due to the strong winds and heavy rains brought by Severe Tropical Storm "Kristine," the Pasay city government reported on October 25.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano personally visited the families who were staying at the evacuation centers and distributed relief goods, blankets, and mats to the evacuees.

Most of the families that sought temporary shelter were those living in low lying areas in Barangays Villamor, Maricaban, and Malibay.

She said that as of 12:00 noon, the City Social Welfare and Development Department reported that the families that continued to stay at the evacuation centers were around 72 families or 243 individuals.

Some of the evacuation sites housing displaced families are the Apelo Cruz Elementary School, Villamor gym, Barangay 186 gym, Barangay 144 Hall, Barangay 134 Hall, Barangay Hall in 194, Barangay 195 function hall, and Bahay Bulilit.
