Outdoor activities including horseback riding, riding in all terrain vehicles (ATV) while crossing rivers, rappelling, mountain climbing, hiking, including  camping and viewing the sea of clouds in the mountains are included in the temporary ban.

Locals who were trained by the municipal government as tour guides have been informed of the cancellation of the outdoor activities and were instructed to relay the information to tourists who may not be aware of the danger that outdoor activities pose during bad weather.

Rivers in some villages are prone to overflow during heavy downpour posing danger to trekkers.
