Puwersa ng Bayaning Atleta (PBA) Party-list Rep. Margarita “Migs” Nograles is willing to undergo drug testing following the challenge of Vice President Sara Duterte to the congressional candidates of Davao City.

In a message to House reporters on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 22, Nograles said: “Sure, no problem with me.”

“I will schedule tests within the next few days,” she said.

Nograles, a deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives, earlier filed a certificate of candidacy (COC) for Davao City’s 1st district seat.

She will face off with the district’s incumbent representative and reelectionist Paolo Duterte, son of former president Rodrigo Duterte.

Vice President Duterte, in an ambush interview, demanded his brother Paolo and Nograles to take a drug test as a way to confirm whether or not they are “unstable”.

She specifically wants a hair follicle drug test done by an independent, third-party drug testing laboratory.

Earlier, Vice President Duterte was accused of being “unstable” following her controversial tirade about the Marcoses in a press conference last Oct. 18.
