LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – The Philippine National Police (PNP)-Bicol reported on Wednesday morning, Oct. 23, that three persons died, six were injured, and one is missing due to tropical storm "Kristine."
Police Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon, PNP-Bicol chief, said one death recorded in Naga City, one in Palanas town in Masbate province, and one in Bagamanoc in Catanduanes province as of Wednesday morning.
Dizon said that the injured were from Paracale town in Camarines Norte province. The missing individual was from Iriga City in Camarines Sur province.
"Ngayon baka madagdagan pa ito kasi iisang lugar pa lang naman ito," Dizon said.

Dizon did not disclose the nature of deaths and injuries of the victims.
No reported deaths or injuries were recorded in the province of Albay as of 7 a.m. Wednesday, Dizon said.
"Wala pa po tayong confirmation niyan (Albay). Kaninang 3 a.m. po na data 'yan. 'Yan lang po na tatlo ang naitala natin sa PNP," he said.

Dizon said that the town of Libon in Albay is still isolated due to flooding as a result of continuous heavy rains from Kristine. There was no reported casualty in Libon.
"’Yung Libon hindi napapasok kagabi pa. ‘Yun po ang minomonitor natin. Bagamat may kontak naman sa police station doon, wala namang casualties," he said.

Gremil Naz, Office of the Civil Defense (OCD)-Bicol spokesperson, said that disaster response agencies in Bicol are overwhelmed by the severe flooding.
"Naghihintay pa po kami ng updated data since overwhelmed po response agencies and ang iba ay affected din po ng effects ni Kristine," he said.
