Mayor Emi reminds cemetery visitors to follow Undas 2024 guidelines


Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano reminded the public to follow the guidelines and the visiting schedule set by the city government at the Pasay Public Cemetery for a peaceful and orderly observance of Undas 2024.

Starting October 29 to November 2, the public will be allowed to visit their departed loved ones from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 midnight.

Residents from District 1 will be allowed to visit in the morning while those residing in District II will be in the afternoon to avoid overcrowding of visitors inside the cemetery.

There will also be no burial and cremation services allowed on October 29 to November 2.

Meanwhile, the cleaning of niches at the cemetery will start on October 16 to 28 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. only.

The mayor explained four tents that will be positioned along Don Carlos Revilla Street to be used by the Philippine National Police (PNP), Public Order and Safety Unit (POSU),  City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), Barangay 148 officials, Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (DRRMO), Pasay Traffic, Red Cross, and Malibay Fire Station will be set up starting October 31.
