Westen Visayas' 8th most wanted caught in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY — The eighth most wanted person in Western Visayas region was arrested in this city on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) identified the suspect as Ed, a 54-year-old farmer and a resident of Barangay Guihaman, Leganes town, Iloilo province.

The warrant of arrest  for Ed for five counts of rape was issued by Judge Globert J. Justalero of the Iloilo City Regional Trial Court Branch 32 last Oct. 18.

ICPO chief Police Col. Kim Legada cited Ed's arrest by the ICPO-Police Station 7.

“Congratulations to our dedicated operatives for their relentless efforts in making our communities safer,” said Legada.

“To those who continue to defy the law and evade justice, know that we are coming for you. Surrender now before it's too late,” added Legada.
