High-value individual yields P373K shabu in Pasay buy-bust

A high-value individual (HVI) was arrested in a joint buy-bust operation conducted by the Pasay Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Pasay City on Saturday, October 19.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as “Lory,” 51, who is arrested along Balagtas Street in Barangay 15.

Seized from the suspect were 54.9 grams of shabu, P3,000 in boodle money, and other drug paraphernalia.

The suspect is now in the custody of the Pasay Police and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

SPD chief Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang stated that the operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal drugs in the city.
