Police Regional Office-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan identified the suspects as Tristan Awa Bestoguey, Tom Contade Nadnaden, Harold Bangloy Saqueb, and Daniel Dave Tolingan Egsaen, residents of Baguio City and Mountain Province.

Maranan said police received a report that a convenience store was robbed at around 10:30 a.m.

Responding policemen arrested Bestoguey in the convenience store while his cohorts escaped.

Lawmen nabbed Bestoguey’s companions in a hot-pursuit operation in nearby Porac, Pampanga.

The suspects yielded guns, bullets, grenades, P90,000 cash, groceries, tools, and their getaway vehicle, a white Toyota Fortuner with license plates CCL-8293.

Police said the suspects also allegedly robbed convenience stores in Aliaga and San Jose City, Nueva Ecija.

Maranan cited operating units for a job well done. The suspects who are in police custody face appropriate charges.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation to determine their involvement in other robbery incidents in Central Luzon and other regions.

The suspects were caught after Interior and Local Government Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla ordered Maranan to intensify the campaign against crime in Central Luzon as the 2025 election approaches.
