2 swindlers arrested by Pasay PNP in Cavite

Officers of the Pasay City Police arrested two men in Tanza, Cavite in a follow-up operation after complaints of swindling and counterfeiting was filed against them on October 18.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as  “Christian,” 25 and “Angeles,” 30. 

The SPD said a 29-year-old victim sought police assistance after he was swindled by the suspects who paid him P20,000 worth of counterfeit bills after buying his motorcycle in Pasay City.

According to the police, the counterfeit money recovered will be submitted to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for verification. 

A police investigation is being conducted to uncover further details about the suspects' activities and possible connection to other crimes.
