ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Rice for P29 per kilo was sold on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Kadiwa sa NIA: Tabo-An at the National Irrigation Administration Zambasulta Regional Sub-Office here.
RICE for P29 a kilo was sold by the government in Zamboanga City.
The activity with the theme “Suporta con de aton mismo, compra maga product desde local siembradores” facilitated the sale of agricultural products to support local farmers.
In his message, Mayor John Dalipe here commended the efforts of the NIA to aid the agricultural sector and reiterated his support to local farmers.
Rice sold to seniors, PWDs, single mothers, and members of the 4Ps was a product of the NIA’s contract farming program and forms part of the Bagong Bayaning Magsasaka (BBM) rice program.
