P678K shabu recovered in Tanay buy-bust op

Two high value individuals (HVI) wanted for illegal drugs were nabbed by the Rizal Police's Provincial Intelligence Unit in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal on Tuesday, October 15, the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) reported.

The suspects were identified as "Dave," 58, a resident of Brgy. Cuyambay of the same town; and "Dion," 20, from Barangay Santiago, Baras, Rizal.

Recovered from the suspects were five packets of shabu worth P680,000 and other drug paraphernalia.

According to the Rizal PPO, the recovered pieces of evidence were brought to the Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.

Meanwhile, Dave and Dion are now facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
