Bulacan police name suspects in ambush slay of prov’l board member, driver


The Bulacan Provincial Police's Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) has identified the four suspects behind the killing of provincial board member Ramil Capistrano and his driver Shedrick Suarez in Malolos City on October 3.

Bulacan police director Col. Satur L. Ediong announced that a double murder case has been filed against the suspects on October 14 at the Malolos City Prosecutor's Office.

The suspects were identified as Staff Sergeant Ulysses Fernan Castro Pascual, his cousin Cesar Mayoralgo Gallardo Jr., and two individuals known as “Lupen” and “Jeff,” all of whom remain at large.

According to witnesses statements, the suspects fatally shot Capistrano and Suarez in Barangay Ligas.

The police have confirmed that Pascual is currently stationed at Camp Crame but was previously assigned to Region 3.

Authorities are now investigating the motive behind the killings and are working to identify the mastermind.

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando has offered a P500,000 reward for any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects. He commended the swift action of the police in addressing the case.

The families of the victims remain hopeful that justice will be served.
