In a weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line will affect extreme Northern Luzon, while the easterlies will impact the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas.

In Batanes, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected due to the shear line.

PAGASA added that the easterlies will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.

Due to the easterlies, Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Eastern Visayas can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned that flash floods or landslides are possible due to moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall or severe thunderstorms.
