QC celebrates 85th anniversary with ‘Kyusiklaban Music Festival’


The local government of Quezon City wrapped up its month-long 85th anniversary celebration, culminating in the "Kyusiklaban Music Festival” held at the Quezon City Memorial Circle (QCMC) on Saturday, October 12.

City Mayor Joy Belmonte, along with the city council, participated in the final part of the festivities.

The free concert featured an impressive lineup of local artists, including KZ Tandingan, Al James, Dilaw, Silent Sanctuary, and Carla Cray.

Special appearances were also made by Piolo Pascual and Bamboo, with Robi Domingo hosting the event.

During the event, the atmosphere was electric, blending music with the vibrant community spirit of its residents.

Moreover, district representatives and the city council proudly showcased the city's unique tourist spots and landmarks, highlighting the rich culture and history of each district as part of the celebration.
