The suspect was identified as Maria Christine Gonzales Abarquez, a resident of Barangay Cogon, this city.

The contraband confiscated from the suspect weighed at least five kilos, said Leia Alcantara, information officer of PDEA-7.

Alcantara added that Abarquez was monitored for three weeks before she was cornered.

The suspect was reportedly capable of selling at least five kilos of shabu a week in the cities of Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, and Cebu, Alcantara said.
