ABS-CBN, through its stars, Andrea Brillantes, BINI, Kyle Echarri, Maymay Entrata, and Robi Domingo, urges the public to be more vigilant and discerning online in its public service advocacy video series, “Spot the Scam.”

Launched last September, the campaign aims to equip the browsing public with knowledge on how they can keep their transactions and data secured and the various modus operandi of scammers online. 

Andrea delves into the hazards of impersonation scams and shares ways on how one can verify the identity of individuals behind online accounts and transactions.

The Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, has joined the fight against social media scams—dispensing safety tips that can help protect the public from scammers and other fraudulent entities. 

Kyle also warned the public on the dangers of watching pirated content online, such as catching virus and malware, which may compromise the security of files and devices.  

Meanwhile, Maymay and Robi equip the public with knowledge on identifying deepfakes, such as verifying the legitimacy of the source and observing the movement of the mouth, and how to not fall victim to this type of online fraud.
