Eating well isn’t just for grown-ups, and it’s important to nurture healthy eating habits in children so they can last a lifetime.
Finding wholesome food options for kids can be challenging when traveling, which is why The Westin Manila offers an Eat Well Menu for Kids at Seasonal Tastes and for in-room dining.
“Westin has developed numerous programs under our Eat Well initiative. Here, we strive to make every dining experience delightful, even for the little ones,” said Executive Chef Rej Casanova.
“Our Eat Well Menu for Kids is part of our brand’s holistic approach to hospitality, offering healthier alternatives and mindful choices for kids. The menu includes selections for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, all big on flavor and prepared in healthier ways using real ingredients.”
Chef Casanova added, “Our menu includes our own take on kids’ favorites, such as breakfast burrito, chicken fingers, fish tacos, spaghetti bolognese, banana chocolate pudding, and more. We even offer vegetable mac and cheese and zucchini pizza.”
The nutrition-focused menu features 15 items that were taste-tested by children and received unanimous approval.
“We want to encourage both parents and children to eat smart. Our menu items are thoughtfully designed to fuel our young diners without sacrificing flavor or satisfaction. Each recipe provides extra nourishment, allowing them to feel their best and most energized.”
