Prominent online vendors shot dead in Pampanga


CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Two prominent online vendors were shot dead in nearby Mexico, Pampanga on Friday afternoon, October 4.

Police identified the victims as Arvin Dayrit Lulu and his wife, Lerma Waje Lulu, residents of Mabalacat City, this province.

Initial investigation said the victims were traveling onboard their car in Barangay Santo Rosario when they were gunned down by two unidentified men. Their son, who was with them, survived.

The gunmen fled towards Jose Abad Santos Ave. here and the victims were taken to a hospital where they were declared dead from multiple bullet wounds.

The couple, particularly Lerma, was a popular distributor of skin care products. Her tarpaulins promoting her products can be seen in major thoroughfares in Metro Manila. 

Netizens condoled with the family of the victims and asked authorities to expedite their investigation and arrest the gunmen.

Police said that motive for the killing  could be business-related.

Days earlier, Lulu posted on Facebook that those who pay their debts are most likely to succeed compared to those who do not.   

Lawmen are conducting dragnet operations and follow-up investigation.
