Nustar Resort and Casino concludes ‘Beloved’ bridal and celebration fair with a parade of Cebu’s finest creations


For its inaugural bridal and celebration fair, dubbed “Beloved,” Nustar Resort and Casino and Fili Hotel gathered 90 of the industry’s top wedding designers, event planners, and suppliers, offering couples and celebration planners an immersive experience for their upcoming milestones. After showcasing Francis Libiran’s “Covenant” collection, Fili Hotel concluded its two-day fair with a spectacular fashion show featuring the creations of Cebu’s top designers.

The grand finale presented bridal wear, formal menswear, and dresses fit for debutantes, inspiring everyone to fulfill their ultimate fantasy for any occasion. Gracing the runway were the designs of Philip Rodriguez, Protacio Empaces, Jun Escario, Wendell Quisido, Marichu Tan, Valerie Alvez, Hanz Coquilla, Mike Yapching, Oscar James, and Agustin Pedrano.

“These past two days have been a testament to the beauty of love, creativity, and celebration, coming together in ways that have left a lasting impression on us all,” said Cristina Ong Cruz, cluster director of sales and marketing for Fili Hotel at Nustar Cebu. “Though this is our first ‘Beloved’ event, it is only the beginning. The energy and enthusiasm we've seen here assure us that this will become a cherished tradition—a celebration that continues to inspire and delight for years to come.”

Beyond the stunning showcases at “Beloved,” Fili Hotel has solidified its status as a premier venue for weddings and special occasions. Located within Nustar Resort and Casino, the hotel offers 379 guest rooms and suites with breathtaking views of the sea or Cebu’s skyline. Its Grand Ballroom, where the fair took place, features state-of-the-art amenities and elegant interiors, providing the perfect backdrop for large-scale events while maintaining an intimate ambiance.
