Go Negosyo founder and chairman and CEO of RFM Corporation Joey Concepcion welcomed the participants in the event held at the TriNoma Mall in Quezon City on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024.

According to Concepcion, the success of the first 3M on Wheels free entrepreneurship mentoring event pushed them to intensify the campaign to reach as many MSMEs nationwide this year, especially considering the bright prospects for the country’s economy.

In her opening speech, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte assured the attending entrepreneurs that building businesses was number one on the city’s agenda.

She emphasized the city’s efforts in ease-of-doing-business, saying it makes entrepreneurship accessible.

During the event, Concepcion personally mentored several MSMEs, including single mother Magdalena Ramos, who runs a distributorship business of Kettle Korn; Denise Caranto, who founded the snacks business Konu, and Marjorie Barcelona, who grew her lemonade business into franchising.

A special part of the program was a short talk by entrepreneur and content creator Isabel Magalona Go, who founded her business But First Coffee during the pandemic. She shared how small entrepreneurs can use readily available social media tools to promote and market their products and services, and how she grew her business with only P6,000 in seed capital.

Other business executives who joined the mentoring event included George Barcelon of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Bernie Liu of Penshoppe, prolific restauranteur Ricky Dee, and AstraZeneca’s Lotis Ramin, among others.

3M on Wheels is a program of Go Negosyo wherein, in addition to free one-on-one coaching for active and aspiring entrepreneurs, financing and market solutions are also made available to them at the event.

3M On Wheels promotes Go Negosyo's three M’s for successful entrepreneurship— Mentorship, Money, and Market.

"The event was inspired by the growing number of Filipinos turning to entrepreneurship and fills the learning gap in the entrepreneurial journey of active and aspiring entrepreneurs," Go Negosyo said.

Go Negosyo is a nonprofit organization that aims to promote a culture of entrepreneurship among Filipinos.
